Every component of the BS series bar slider systems has been designed as a part of Cycle Cat's IMS program. The result is products of exceptional capability for protecting the motorcycle in the event of a fall.
The BS series of IMS bar slider systems are designed in to protect the bar ends and levers should the bike go down. CNC-machined of black polymer material, the slider ends are designed to absorb impact and endure abrasion, while adding nothing but beauty to your motorcycle.
BS series slider systems include CNC-machined billet aluminum taper nuts which make installation a 1-minute job, and which hold the sliders securely in place, and won't sag under pressure. And as with all Cycle Cat products, replacement parts are available

for every component of a BS series bar slider system.
Cycle Cat produces four styles of sliders. All four fit all Cycle Cat bars, and all four share the key features illustrated above. The DBS-1 is a full size design for maximum impact absorption. The DBS-2 is the original Cycle Cat bar slider, designed for full protection but with a diameter which fits within the diameter of most throttle controls. The DBS-2 is particularly indicated where the throttle control protrudes beyond the end of the bar. The DBS-3 is a version of the DBS-1 which has been reduced in length, for those who wish a less apparent installation. The DBS-4 is machined especially to accommodate CRG Hindsight mirrors.

1. All IMS products are designed to optimally handle the impact and energy which would, in their absence, cause extensive damage to a motorcycle when it falls. Of course, it is impossible to predict exactly what will transpire when a motorcycle goes down, especially at speed. So while we have done, and continue to do, everything possible to build IMS products, including the BS series bar sliders, to specifications which will minimize damage in the greatest possible number of cases, we cannot promise that no damage will occur. We can promise that with an IMS product on your bike, you're doing all you can to put the odds in your favor. Because no one has put more thought, care, and engineering into managing impact, than Cycle Cat. A BS series frame slider is not just a bumper. Its a complete impact management system.
2. BS series frame slider systems are designed to be semi-sacrificial. That is, by design, they will absorb and deflect energy up to the point at which they will offer greater protection through bending or breaking apart. Thus, it is possible that in some crashes, a part or parts of the slider system may be damaged or destroyed. As with every Cycle Cat product, all components are available as spare parts.
3. BS series bar sliders are designed for Cycle Cat bars.
4. The DBS-1 includes a large diameter slider which extends approximately 1/4" up the side of the grips.
5. The DBS-2 includes a small diameter slider which extends slightly beyond the outside diameter of the bar.
6. The DBS-3 is a version of the DBS-2, reduced in length.
7. The DBS-4 is designed specifically to accommodate CRG Hindsight mirrors.
