In June 2011 Chris Calovini assumed control over the direction of the company, signaling a new beginning for Cycle Cat. Chris Calovini, a Ducati and MV Agusta owner and enthusiast, knows Cycle Cat. Former Sales and Marketing Manager of Cycle Cat, Chris knows the products, knows the company and knows the community as well as anyone possibly could. Chris is also the founder and President of DesmOhio, one of the largest and most successful Ducati Owner Clubs in the world.
The company’s vision is clear: Re-launch Cycle Cat and begin to make products available to a community that is demanding nothing but the best products and services the motorcycle world has to offer.
Cycle Cat has an existing inventory of component parts but will need to begin manufacturing some critical components before bar systems and rearsets will be available. But don’t worry, this is not a big hurdle and we do not expect it to take long. Going forward Cycle Cat will make available replacement parts for most of the systems we have sold in the past. We will also produce, in at least limited quantities, the same high quality products that we had delivered in the past for Ducati and most of the other bikes we have made products for in the past. Initially, we will be concentrating on ramping up production of Ducati related products to the same levels of availability as there was in 2005. From there, we will be looking to determine the viability of bringing Cycle Cat products to market for MV Agusta, Aprilla and Triumph.
The best news is that you can also expect to see new products available for both the old bikes as well as completely new systems for the latest SuperBikes like the 1098, all of the new Monsters, Hyper Motard, Street Fighter, Sport Classics and the Multistrada! We will even take a swing at the Diavel…
Cycle Cat products will be sold direct to customers through our new website in the United States and worldwide where there is not a distributor. We are eager to build our distribution network for Europe, Australia, Canada and Japan. Applications are being accepted now.
